The Exploratory and Pre-Professional Advising Center (Explore Center) provides advising services for students who are exploring majors, as well as students interested in Pre-Health and Pre-Law areas.

For exploring students, professional advisers help you choose courses that keep you on the right track for the different majors and Colleges you may be considering.  During the time you are exploring majors, academic advisers will encourage you to enroll in exploratory courses while completing the University ACE (Achievement-Centered Education) requirements.

For pre-professional students, you may receive assistance with scheduling classes, discussing prerequisites, getting involved in extracurricular experiences, and developing a timeline for applying to professional schools. When you are ready to apply to a health or law professional school, you will find help planning the application process, preparing for entrance exams, completing application essays and materials, and practicing an admission interview.

The center is located in Suite #33 in the Canfield Administration Building. An adviser is available for walk-in sessions:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 8:30-11:30 am and 1:00-4:00 pm

Tuesday, Thursday - 9:30-11:30 am and 1:00-4:00 pm

Appointments can be made on the student's MyPLAN TAB in Blackboard. For questions call, 402-472-3605.
